Daniel was a very nice kid once you got to know him and he calmed down. Most people just did not want to put that kind of effort in and I can understand why; He wasn't always the most reasonable person even if you were kind to him. But he did listen and was considerate ingame if you just took the time to be patient and considerate with him long enough.

Thus far, should he be Daniel, Sniper doesn't seem all that bad. Up to now, there has barely been a mention of him, at least from what I can see. Best to leave the matter be, honestly.

I can understand why you may not want to know him when he is in that state, but he isn't always like that. Few people are pleasent to be around when they are angry.

I'm not saying you have to like him, you're entitled to like or dislike anyone you please, but just because you don't like someone (And not you specifically, in general terms) does not mean you should purposefully try to upset them.
