Have to keep the thread alive.

She got a potty seat for christmas so one of the more messy trials of her upbringing is about to commence. She understands that you sit on it, but it will be a little time before we actually try to make her use it for it's intended purpose. Nope, she like crapping in the bath tub at the moment...

you have to admit, it makes sense, much larger target to hit, and it already comes with a cleaning function.

Yeah... That cleaning function is me.

I wonder if it's easier to potty train a girl, since they won't piss all over everything in the bathroom. However I don't know anything about this so I imagine a little girl could still manage to piss all over a bathroom.

Hope it's not too tough when you start potty training.

Th seat we got was a unilove variant. It has this little hood thing that makes sure boys don't piss all over the place. It's rather neat, if I say so myself.

is it tough having a child?

A little boy would probably still find a way to piss all over everything.

It can be very tough at times, but I will have to say it has been the most rewarding time of my life.

Just how she can make me smile just by saying "Hi Dada" is totally worth it.

In the bath tub? Does she not wear diapers or something?

There's no point in wearing a diaper in a bathtub if I'm trying to clean her. aside from washing difficulties, the diaper would be useless after and she'd need another one anyways.

We are trying to wean her off of formula now. Granted, it should have been done sooner some people say, but so far, it's been an easy transition from formula to milk. I think she didn't like milk because it was just too cold. Our fridge has a nasty habit of freezing eggs even at the lowest setting. But she will drink juice that cold. Jut a picky baby. lol

I've always been curious, when switching a baby from formula to milk do you like, pour the milk in with the formula and just keep adding more milk less formula over time? or is there some different process you follow for it?

For the longest time she just wouldn't drink it. We tried mixing it, tried using milk instead of water in her bottles, nothing worked. Finally a couple days ago, we gave her a bottle of milk that we warmed up by letting it sit in hot water and she didn't even seem to notice. It's been an easy transfer and we haven't had to use formula yet. I'm hoping if it goes well like this for a week, we can consider her off of formula. It was a stupidly simple process, but I can't guarantee it will be the same or every child.

Hey guys! I love to yell now!
