Can't. Too cute. Can't resist the smile. :3

Baby got her ears pierced on Friday. She screamed like hell. Not out of pain, mind you, but boy was she pissed. lol

Why the forget did you have a BABY'S ears pierced, you sick bastard? :panda:

Because she won't remember the pain or trauma from doing it now, it's like giving baby boys circumcisions. Might as well get it over with early that way we won't have to deal with it years down the line of whining and screaming when she's able to think about it to scare her stuffless. If she was anything like me, I'm glad it was done now.
Anywho, another pic!

What if she doesn't wouldn't her ears pierced in the future? :panda: You tortured a baby over assumption... ;~; I mean, how does that even work, having ears pierced since she was a baby? I'm sure some people will give her a strange look after hearing that.

My sister had hers pierced at that age. Besides, all girls wear earrings.

Besides, all girls wear earrings.
I know plenty of girls that dont, my gf being one of them. On some girls the holes don't close or heal so if they ever dont want to wear them it doesn't look nice.

Not that i disagree with getting your child's ears pierced, your kid not mine!

Oh right, it's probably because I live in America :/

I don't see how it is torture. Not even 30 minutes after she got them you could fiddle with them and it obviously wasn't painful to her. Babies are remarkable that way.

And even so, if it was actual torture, they wouldn't have allowed us to do that to begin with. It's a lot more common than isn't to have girls with pierced ears. In most cultures it is a rite of passage. In any case, she is absolutely fine and doesn't seem to even notice them in. To her, it's just a part of her ear at this point.

The only reason she fussed in the first place is because we had to hold her head still. She's a nosey lil girl and curious and didn't like the fact that we were keeping her from seeing what was being done. Afterwards, 5 minutes of "Mommy's a jerk!" then out like a light. She woke up and was back to normal. Not even slightly traumatizing for her.

She's a cutie for sure and at least people will quit assuming she's a boy until her hair grows out. You think all the pink would be a dead giveaway. lol
