The funny part about the bronies is that report button abuse seems to be the only way they remove anyone who don't like the show, obviously with a lot of people reporting a single thing it would sure ban somebody.

The only difference is the other fandoms aren't as bad. We've managed to maintain the furry fandom years ago.

There was a lot of hate for furries too, and the thread shortly died out like it should have, because they moved it to somewhere meant for it.
