We're not dismissing anything that's girly here, we're talking about how you suck up to it, the plotlines are generic, the art style is easily done in flash, the characters are just remakes of toy ponies, and the jokes are like Swedish furniture.
Aside from that, the show is not the real problem here.

I never denied bronies the right to post what they do. I don't condone a lack of free speech. But part of free speech, is acknowledging that if you do or post something that a significant amount of others consider wrong, you are prepared to receive their side of the view, whether you find it wrong, or whether it is aggressive. Free speech works both ways.

It does work both ways, but you have to moderate it within the boundaries of the forum/society/country. This leads back to getting the balance right in this forum.

I saw a post about you saying "self-moderation". This is greatly based on the principles of the user. One user might decide posting a link to something harmful, they think it is within their boundaries of what is acceptable. While another will understand it's harmful potential thus removing the idea of posting it. I'm trying to explain morality and that it requires a third-party to distinguish between one's rights and wrongs.

To use a real-life example would be to have someone steal an object and confess guilty immediately after. The world is corrupt and requires a balance of moderation and laws to support the ever changing society we live in.
