I got Subway earlier and put it on the nightstand in my room so I could eat it while I was on the computer, and I only ate a half, and when I looked at it a few minutes ago, it was motherloving swarming with ants. they're tiny too. first thing I did was try to spray them with cleaning supplies. I don't know why I did it. then I took the sandwhich and threw it away, then I got a big ol' hammer and killed most of them, but I can tell there's gonna be way more

Look around your walls. They are like water, the tiniest breach in your house will be their main entrance. If you find ANY cracks or crevices leading to the outside, seal it. Also you can buy liquid ant killer.

I think they live in the nightstand because they came out/went in the cracks in it. :s

We have these sugar ants too, and they get in ANYTHING.

We tried everything to get rid of them, then we just said "Forget it" and gave up trying to kill them.

They wont kill you if you eat them bro, you won teven know they're there.

Buy RAID or some type of bugspray that keeps ants away for weeks.

I had the same problem so I sprayed some HOT SHOT (smells really bad for about 4 days but it's worth having no ants for about 4-5 months.

I stopped reading to where I bolded. Why would you think that is a good idea? Would you eat a soggy sandwich covered in cleaning supply chemicals and dead ants?

You cant use that ANTI-BUG-BARRIER stuff for sugar ants.

THey always find a way aaround it, and if not, they go right over it, and dont die.

Remove everything from your cabinets.

Throw cabinet out.

Problem solved.


Alternitivley, you can remove everything from your cabinets and make sure they don't get out with tile sealer or plumbers putty or some stuff. Something you can remove. Just seal it for like a week, it fixed my problem.
