Author Topic: Looking to get some people together for some game design.  (Read 1885 times)

I sincerely hope this isn't abandoned. My book just arrived from Amazon. I'm ready to get rolling.
I'll talk to you if we need some sounds. :D

I never said it was abandoned, it's just every other project I wanted to help with got abandoned because the OP was too lazy to actualy work on it.
And k, my Steam is logged in on my sister's computer (hers is newer and can run games better than mine) so if you do it might be a while for me to log on and such.

I'm trying to learn modeling. I've got most of the basics down in blender I think, just need to practice.

I wish I could help :(

C#. :D
Seems interesting.
Also, why not for Android, considering Unity supports that too?

Also, I find jMonkeyEngine to be an interesting engine for "computer" games, although it isn't really stable yet.

YES :D
Welcome to the team. Add me.
And yes, we might do ports to Android as well. Yay for Unity.
The only thing is the funding. My dad can probably buy us an iPhone publishing license, but we'll see.
Where did you learn C#?

Too late, did before I posted.

I'm thinking about buying an Android market dev account for myself, so if we port it to Android I might be able to publish it.

Various books + the internet + some very small pointers from some guy from Arrowhead, because I wanted to learn programming for XNA.
Thanks, Magicka.

1) You haven't even accepted my request.
2) I'm on vacation and I don't remember the exact book title, might check it up though.

1. Will do.
2. Please do.

Why can't you? :u
Well I can't Model, I can't script, I wouldn't be able to draw any sort of texture.

If someone would be willing to give me a simple to learn scripting book for C# I would help but overall I don't think I would do much.

Please do differentiate between scripting and programming.

We should make some mega topic about planning to make a 360/PS3 verison of BL

I have experience with C++, Java, basic Lua stuff (didn't really use it for anything and abandoned it) along with writing graphics shaders.
However I'm working on another project in C++ at the moment in my spare time. Still I could possibly maybe do something. :P
