Author Topic: My opinion on the current state of Lego  (Read 6513 times)

I miss Lego System :C

That's because Lego is making their products more kid-friendly than budding architect-friendly.
This is why I'm slowly starting to lose my interest in Legos. For me, the challenging build was 75% of the fun, but now, I could build most $20 sets just by looking at a few pictures

Anyone here remember Bionicle?
Yes and I hate how loving 'hero factory' replaced them

The MySpace of Lego? Couldn't forget it.
Worst brown townogy of 2011 right here, folks.

You gotta realize, a stuffload of things used to be better than they are today.
You can still buy old things whenever you feel like it, though.

My first was:

It was so cool back then! The thing on Rahga Norik's back is a propeller object that spins when you use a key.

I actually never liked Bionicle for some reason.

I wonder why they took world builder off of their site.

It was a fun game.

I'm gonna play it here.

I didn't like Bionicle that much, but I loved the other building sets

i know i have a AT-ST set that's huge and a y-wing c:

I hated that set from the moment it came out. And all other humanoid-robot-thingies who're supposed to save the world...

Transformers?

I remember the old Johnny Thunder and Aquateam sets, but now they got this Indiana Jones and Atlantis stuff.

I don't really mind the sets getting more complicated since I would probably be bored with LEGOs if they weren't, but the prices seems to have gone up a lot. I do miss some of the old sets like the Mars ones, and those ones that transformed into different things, I can't remember what they were called, and others, but newer sets I find just as fun.

LEGO is awesome.
I haven't played with any in a while though.

When those were made, Lego could use lots of ideas that were not made then
But now they are made, so they have to come up with more money-making ideas

My greatest nostalgia and lego removed it :c

EDIT: Wayback machine is a bitch.
