Author Topic: Need Help Making Music Add Ons  (Read 1350 times)

I need help turning a stereo track into a mono track. I've tried splitting the stereo track and turing the left and right into mono tracks, and splitting the stereo track, deleting one of them and turning the other into a mono, but every time I try to put it into Blockland, it says, "Stereo sound detected in <name>.ogg file, removing datablock." And my add on is gone. Can anyone please tell me how to do it the right way? I think I'm doing it wrong. Also, if it matters, I'm a Mac user. And don't tell me I can't make music add ons on Macs because I've done it before the same way, it's just not working on this new Mac.

Maby. Get a new file of the song? Use old mac? Use new program? Those might help you. I don't really know how to fix it.

Well I have a relatively new mac, the newest version of audacity, but but I did have a bit a trouble getting the song so maybe it isn't so great. Thanks for taking the time to finally reply.

Yes, that's what it all looks like when it's done, but when I put it into Blockland and make sure it's activated, the game deletes the datablock. Maybe my computer's just so stupid that it can't tell a mono track from a stereo track.

Is the file your exporting over 1mb? Also it wouldn't be your computer it would be torque.
also make sure theres only one line of audio, otherwise torque gets confused with stereo.
