I have a airsoft Beretta M9 and i'm a excellent shot with it. It's spring operated so there's no recoil,so that could be one plus.

But I hit a plastic firework container (i set it off already,it shot confetti) which was about the size of half a large golfball and was shaped like a loving champagne bottle, yet I hit it in one shot, but both of the military-trained family members missed it and drained the entire clip of all the plastic ammo.

I suspect this may be because they weren't trained to be especially good at aiming (well one was but didn't compete because she complained it was too dark) or that they weren't used to the weight of small wepon.

Discuss your accuracy with pistols and such.

If you mean shredding everything that trys to get close to you to actually deal damage then yes

I can hit a tiny bullseye at 30 yards with a 22 but can't hit a clay pigeon at 3 yards with a .223.
:/

accuracy behavior with airsoft guns =/= accuracy behavior with real guns

i can hit a propane tank at 100 something yards with a 22 rifle
so there's that

even if it had some left in it shooting it would just cause that to leak out 100 yards away

I have a couple of Nerf guns, and I'm fairly good at close range firing, I'm progressing on to medium range.

Medium range being 8 yards?
