Actually, when I was logging in, I was thinking about that. I was thinking similar to what anti-cop says, but were to committ several crimes agenst a person (StoreClerk on false arrest/pay fines rampage), the GUI's could get annoying. I think there should be a setting in the options menu where you can set it � to always press charges, never press charges(NOT reccomended) or Prompt(Use the GUI).
Annother idea would be to use the GUI like anti-cop said, but when someone decides to press charges, any crimes committed agenst that person by the same offender for the next 30 minutes will be charged agenst them.

On the 30 minute thing, if you said no crime then they could hit you for 30 minutes.

Not really you can only get to a certain amount of dems depending what crime EX. Running naked can get you max 16:40 mins in jail.

I was thinking only for certain crimes, of course you can also have prefs for always punishing or never punishing certain people(maybe only applying to certain crimes, but then the list might get big, idk what data structures exist in Torque).

Why not add an ignore button so if someone keeps commiting crimes abusing the thing you just hit ignore and they get the derms without it asking you if you want them to have the derms or not for a period of time.
