Weird Glitch

I was on the USSR Primary Retail 3.0 server and while trying to get a plane out of Squarehead's tower a glitch happened!

Squarehead was trying the get Lalam's plane out of his tower so we helped him.

After a long while of blasting and hitting it with a hammer Squarehead built a brick almost inside the plane, It almost got it leveled enough to move it! Then Squarehead used a jeep to make it leveled then Rikter got in it somehow... The glitch has begun... He said he didn't have trust for it a few minutes ago and then he respawned it at the vehicle spawn and I tryed to get in it.... Success! Then when rikter was piloting the plane I told him to land near Squarehead to see if he could get in too... He did...


As you can see in that screenshot we we're all in lalam's plane.

Well I made the stunt plane a jeep.


Well I decided to turn it back to a stunt plane.


Then I decided to try and get in other vehicles.

It worked.

Well the weird thing is we didn't have the glitch for each other so no trust except for squarehead's trust for me, I also tryed to get in link's jeep, Nope I failed, I think the people who has been there recently the glitch doesn't work for, And the people who hasn't been there recently it does work for them, Weird huh?

Then I decided to get some items that weren't mine.

Well it worked too!

The next day I tryed it again and it worked! The glitch is somehow still going!


This is true, If you don't believe me ask rikter and squarehead.

I believe USSR has public domain enabled and that the proper owner of that plane has been gone from the server for more than the set time for it to take effect.

basically when you leave there server for over a set time e.g. 15 minutes your bricks become public and can be used, edited and even destroyed by everyone.

1: I'm sure USSR Server has building disabled, I'm assuming they re-enabled or you're an admin there and admins get to build or something.

2: You rambled on saying "the glitch" and you talk on and on and it doesn't make much sense. I think you're talking about:
 

• 1 - You got a Jeep to fly, that's the Flying Jeep
• 2 - As stated by Mr Smash.

Star, please just explain what you were trying to do when "the glitch" occured and stop rambling on. Seriously, you were just talking about stuff you were doing with....I can't explain it but just redo your post, it doesn't make much (if not any) sense.

You have to tell us how the plane was, I mean, you're suddenly talking about getting it level. Why does it need to be level? Explain, Ex: The whole souldn't let it fit unless it was level.

What I don't get is why they didn't just respawn the plane instead of spend an hour trying to get it out

Well it was very weird but the public domain timeout is possible, But then again rikter said it was not possible, So we tryed to get it leveled like on the ground type leveled.

Perhaps I could shed some light on this... Squarehead was attempting to build a tower, but a stunt plane had crashed directly where one of this walls would have gone, with it's wing stuck in the ground. We tried everything from shooting it to hammering it to destroying the section of the tower around it, but the plane wouldn't budge. I tried respawning the vehicle at Lalam's spawn point (since it was registered to him), but I had no trust with him. After another few minutes, while I was not looking, Square and Star somehow righted the plane (ask them), and on a guess, I hopped on it and flew it away.

Public domain (which had escaped my mind at the time) could explain this all; the plane flipping was the point where public domain kicked in, methinks.

Yes, that is very posable if lalam had been gone from the server over the set period of time before public domain took effect.

Btw, Public Domain is so that the game doesn't have to hold info for longer then needed. Say some noob makes 1 brick for a rocket launcher then leave and there's no domain....now say lots of noobs do this (I've seen it happen before O_O), then the game wold have lots of registered to stuff for bricks that wasn't going to be used by the maker again. This clears the date giving BL more room :P

That is very very possible, I believe it may be the public domain thing now, I am sorry.
