I usually have a stable download speed of 8MB/s while I'm doing other things like playing an online game and such.
On good days when nobody in my area is using the internet I can get over 10MB/s easily

I don't mind it though. I'm usually doing something else while a game downloads anyway, so by the time it's done I usually forgot I began downloading it to begin with! (looking at you fallout 3)
