Author Topic: Good, free recording software?  (Read 1443 times)

I need something that can record a video game well, is free and has no bullstuff limits for the demo (30 seconds per clip my ass, Fraps!)

I WANT TO KNOW THIS TOO

BB Flashback works pretty well.

Just buy Fraps. :cookieMonster:

I did.

I regret asking my mother to get me a computer without the word gaming.

just because a computer doesn't specifically say "gaming" doesn't mean you can't game with it.

This.
My computer is beast, and no where does it say gaming.
"HP super computer"
Nope. Doesnt say gaming

My computer lags when it records with Fraps. My new one won't.

Hypercam works exceptionally well for a free recording software.

Haha, no.
Fraps trial is fine if you don't mind 30 second long recordings and a watermark.

Get fraps free, then link the videos together.

I've used that stuff and dayhem, video quality sucked ass.  If you want to see the stuffty quality of both AVS and HyperCam, then http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_2RoHQsXcKY you should watch that and then my sequel (1000 moar ways to die Part 1 of 10) and compare the quality.

I have the trail version, and it is MUCH better then full, mostly because it prevents you from making large ass files that take up whole GigaBytes.

The problem with Fraps is... is there a switch for it to automatically compress a video after recording? Because it comes out huge as hell and I'm confused as forget which compression system is best for it.
