It said free but
You had to buy memberships, gold/crowns, etc.
Oh and you would spend 100$ to unlock areas up to level 35.
Yeah it was a pretty fun game till I realized I couldn't go anywhere at all.

Like LotRO?
And Runescape?
And every other "free-to-play" game?
Whoops, that's two games I know of that do this.

I've seen PLENTY of free games where you're able to do everything that anyone else can do, just with weaker equipment.

I know right! Doesn't it suck when you get to play something for free?

Spiral Knights is one of them.

That game is one of the only legit ones.

EDIT: Other then the idea of energy

You're all equal in spiral knights. There are no cash-only items. Buying CE with $$$ is just a shortcut to being rich.

Perfect example of a free game that is less annoying.

YSFlight.  I haven't met any starfishs or furries or any of that stuff yet.

handicaps don't usually play because the game isn't that easy and if they get annoying everyone changes their IFF and repeatedly shoots them down.

Yes the game is sort of an ad for Captain YS's other stuff he makes that you must pay for, but who gives a stuff?  it's shareware.

The game is supposed to be modifiable, so hacks to give planes more weapons is really a modification than a hack.  Also, it's pretty simple so there will be less bugs and/or glitches

I really dislike games that are free, but for most of the features (good guns etc) you need to buy their own currency thing to use to buy the good guns.

You can pay $200 US dollars for a Big Ass minigun in Dead Frontier.

I paid $300 for a Golden M4 on Crossfire.

I hope you are kidding. Or is it not real currency?

I needed 100 tokens for it, and each Black Market crate was 1000zp ($1 US).
The chances of getting a token from a crate are about 1 per 3.

Not to mention all the other guns I've bought for it.

NINJA BUMP

But there are legit games when you summarize it. Yes most of you said TF2. But some browser games such as Plazma Burst 2

Those are good, but sadly you constantly see complete 10 year old dumbasses who don't know what the forget a ping is and say that a person lags.

My average is 22 ping on the USA Washington server and people say I LAG.

Then we get to the point where the real laggers shine.

Whenever I come across someone with 400+ ping I leave the game because that's loving outrageous .

I came across a guy with a 3K+ ping

That's just handicapped.

Pretty sure that is impossible, considering your connection would be too horrible to stay connected.

Hellgate Global is free. It doesn't suck. At all. In fact, Hellgate London was $20. After Flagship Studios cut the servers, Hanbitsoft bought all the rights and has been working on it's release. Open beta is out. With the release of Global, you get the entire Hellgate London campaign for free, and then you can pay like $4 for the 3 expansions. I'm not stuffting you. MTX? Yes. They have it. But you CANNOT buy weapons and OP stuff like that. They keep it equal. The "Premium" stuff is like +% exp and stuff like that.
