Author Topic: It looks like I'm going to be in the Air Force  (Read 1555 times)

I started the enlistment process a couple of days ago. I'll be going to MEPS (Military Entrance Processing Station) and swearing in the first week of August (When I get back from vacation).

Doesn't the air force only leave the nation every few weeks?

Stay safe, Bones

Here's the good/bad news.

The Air Force uses the delayed entry program. This means that no one goes to basic training without a guaranteed job or job field. It could be a couple of months before I ship out or it could be over a year. I have no way of knowing when a job I selected will become available.

FLY PLANES, BE AWESOME

Airforce isn't just flying planes.

Airforce isn't just flying planes.

I never said the air force was just flying planes

You should totally try to be one of the guys sitting back in base with a joystick, flying an unmanned bomber. :D
