I'd suggest replacing the current download system with a dynamic cloud system so that we only download what we need while we play, but I am aware of the fact that there are some engine problems with this idea
I'd rather have everything downloaded while I'm loading that way there's no interuptions, however, servers do not store faces/decals.

Well, personally I don't like having to download a bunch of stuff I'll never ever see on the server because hosts are too god damn lazy to disable the add-ons they aren't using before hosting.
But whatever

I think this should be a cloud thing. That way people can show off their decals.

You join a DM and you instantly load.

Someone decides to use a playertype that has a different model, thus, you can't see them for the moment it's downloading. This could give them a huge advantage, or because of how the engine works, probably crash everyone.

I think this should be a cloud thing. That way people can show off their decals.
Which is why I suggested:

Have them actively download from the cloud server as the player encounters them, and put them in cache.db.

Downloading WHILE you play sounds like a laggy mess for a lot of people.  Join a good server and their load will be only as long as it needs to be, hosts just need to learn not to suck.  I complain every time I join a server that has a mod that they don't need and I'd be glad when they ban me after it.  I don't want to spend my time in a server so bad that the host would ban someone telling them how to fix a problem rather than fix it.

Wouldn't downloading faces and decals to everyone be a hassle if you had WAY to many faces and decals?

I understand he's a busy guy and everything, but it's generally not a good idea to leave a community over several thousand people hanging without any update of any kind on how things are coming. This gives us nothing to look forward to, and leaves further creativity/addition to the game up to the players.

I just think some kind of news as to what he has going on would be good. If he's busy with something else? That's fine and all, but we can't know that for sure unless he takes less than a minute to post a topic saying "Hey guys, not currently working on the next update, I'm busy with blah blah blah." Wouldn't that be nice? To at least have the confirmed definite proof of what he's doing. We can speculate all we want, I'm just saying it would be good to have officialy word on whether or not he's abandoned us.

Blockland version 2.0 (!)
- New engineWhat's wrong with Torque?
- Rank up system (?)I don't want this to turn into a game where if you join too late, you're dirt under the feet of the gods and can't get anywhere.
- Built in mod manager similiar to RTBWhy can't you just install RTB?
- Friends list and profilesTrust list and forum information?
- AwardsAchievement Mod?
- RewardsRewards like what? Free decals?
- Voice chat (Admins can mute people)Great, it's not enough to simply see a ten year old throw strings of swears at me.
- Adventure modeA common joke. Blockland was made as a sandbox game and I can't see Badspot ever changing that.
- RPG Adventure modeSee above.
- Official building servers in which you have to collect bricks via Adventure mode to build withHalf the allure of Blockland over a game like Lego Universe would be unlimited bricks.
- Huge graphics improvementsI think the graphics are beautiful.
- More default customization optionsThis I agree with.
- State of the art water physicsI can put a brick inside a water brick; that's state-of-the-art enough for me.
- A hose to fill in areas with water instead of water bricksDynamic water would be laggy as hell.
- Ability to filter out the laggy serversCheck the Ping.
- More default eventsAdd-ons?
- More default weaponsSee Above
- More default vehiclesSee Above
- More default bricksSee Above

I would pay $70 for this.Really? I'd pay $20.

The only thing that I think would perfect Blockland IMO is to get rid of the lag. Get too many ppl or bricks and it's lag city. If limits were removed along with lag, insanely epic things would be possible.

Faces and Decals aren't major to gameplay, so they could just background download as you're playing. You also wouldn't download every face they have, just the faces you see as you play.

It's optimized a lot already. What other game do you know can handle 256000 objects and run better than Blockland?
But improving said optimization may be possible, but it wouldn't be easy.

Okay.
1550.

I am encountering way to many bugs.  It's getting worse too.

I haven't encountered many bugs at all.
It's likely that you're using crap-ons.

I think all I want fixed is my 'Text Disappearing' problem.

But I think all kinds of new content would be very nice.

I'm not the only person imagining someone turning research images into face/body decals and running around servers with it pissing off kids and parents, am I?

I give up. Someone else look up that v0002 image of a guy with a Dead or Alive decal virus. Google is useless.
