Author Topic: Joining my own Dedicated server.  (Read 1328 times)

I am Un-able to join my own dedicated server. As normal, it shows up on the Internet list as dead. But nothing appears on the LAN list like it should. Any one know whats wrong?

"Dedicated" is hosted by both you and the master server. That's why you can turn off blockland (but not the dedicated .bat window) and have it still up. If you haven't portforwarded then you can't send info to the server and then the master server doesn't host anything.

If you haven't already, forward your ports 28000 to 28030. If you have, maybe you did something wrong.

Its worked before, it just stoped working for me now.

You need to put the lime in the coconut and sha... nvm.

If it shows up as dead in the internet list, then either your ports aren't forwarded correctly or something like a firewall is blocking it.

Query LAN only looks for servers on the default port.  If you've changed your port setting on the dedicated server, it won't show up.
