The New Facebook Chat

Ok last topic.

I hate the new Facebook chat. It populates itself with offline people who I never talk to, and as far as I know, in order to chat with someone you need to type their name in the search just to see if theyre online to chat.

Does anyone else yearn for the old chat, or even understand how the hell you use this new piece of crap they gave us?
