Author Topic: I won't be on Steam for a few days, maybe even longer.  (Read 1089 times)

The monitor on my parent's computer broke, so it's just a black screen. The power button's light is on, but there is absolutely nothing on the display. The computer is fine. The reason that matters is because I have to use my parent's computer to go online and play games, as my parents don't allow me to have internet on my computer, and my computer sucks horribly.
So, yeah. Sorry. D:

Not all of you care, but I'm just letting people on my friend's list know, even if they don't care.

I'll take it on his behalf

why aren't you allowed to have internet on your own computer? do your parents think you're going to go on like a researcho binge or what?

Coolio, just use your computers monitor for your parents computer.

salvage pieces of your parental being's computer box to recreate the image of what you lost, and move on from that point

@Captain Crazy
I don't know. I've only asked my mom, and she thinks that I'll stay up all night using it.

@Trymos
My monitor is heavy. It's not an LCD, and I might get yelled at by my mom for messing around.

Also, when my dad came home from work, he yelled at me because it wasn't working, and I hadn't been on the computer since about 3:00, and it was 6:30 now. My mom was like, "Oh, so that's why he's not on the computer". She always makes smartass comments like that. Also, in the evening, I heard them talking about getting a laptop even when my mother said that they can't afford a new computer for me. I was going to get one for Christmas that was $400, but I guess not.

Is the VGA cable correctly connected?
Does your computer happen to be an Acer?

Your parents are horrible.

Is the VGA cable the blue monitor cable? :/
The monitor is an Acer, and our old Acer laptop's screen broke. So, that's kind of funny, I guess.
