i see these videos of RTB, and they look so cool and have more stuff! but then i hear that RTB dies more and more every day. so tell me. is RTB better?

@Wege: Nope.

Depends on what you want more...RTB is for BL Alpha and free, and while very good, it has some problems which retail fixes very well.

I must say, at first i didnt really like the No Build through, no float, no EW. But, as i play retail more and more the less i like thoes things. It allows for more creatitivity, even if it seems to limit it and only the best builders shine.

Floating bricks was added because of a bug in the V2 brick tree that would cause entire buildings to be destroyed erroneously
Build through was added because V2 did not support complex collision shapes
Editor wand was added to get more out of the 2,000 or so bricks you could add before you lagged to hell

They're all just workarounds for problems in v2. Retail has solved all of those problems.

Mocheeze himself has admitted that it's impossible to go back to RTB after having played retail.

I never liked RTB that much, i never played it, I had only played vanilla.

Retail is better.

I loved RTB, but Blockland Retail is so much better.

Only thing I do miss is the Editors' Wand, only because I want custom bricks, and both the brick gens don't work for me...

It's impossible to go back to any version of blockland, or blockland mod, after having played retail. I tried to play AiO-r the other day, for super lan DM purposes, and it was hard to remember what keys were which, for some reason, Q didn't have guns anymore...
