Video File Converter Help

I need some help. I downloaded a Video to put onto my iPod but it was an MPEG4 File (Which my iPod video cannot play). I need something that converts it to an MP4. Every converter i find on google is either a Virus, requires you to buy it for it to work, or doesnt loving work at all. I require assistance. :c

MPEG-4's file extension is .mp4

Red Kawa makes a bunch of video converters.  I use them for my Zune HD and my PSP, and when I used to, my iPod 3rd gen nano.  It works flawlessly and puts it in the right format.  You just have to put the videos on your iPod yourself.
