I hate those half cartoon, half 3D versions. It just doesn't fit right the backgrounds and children are cartoon while the transformers are 3d and they don't even look like they fit the right perspective with the cartoon environment because they weren't made for that.

You're thinking of Transformers G2 (generation 2). It was really stuffty.

There are a couple episodes about Dinobots, the first one is in season 1 and is called S.O.S. Dinobots...it wasn't a two-part, but in season two there was one called Dinobot Island. That was a 2 part.

I've always wondered that myself, but I'd imagine it has something to do with their highly advanced technology that maybe stuffs the thing into an infinite space cube or something.
