loving insane. I know the first 2 of gershwin's piano preludes and I want to play the third because It's the most dramatic of the three.

you bastard.

Yeah I can appreciate it for what it is, but I don't think I'm a Gershwin fan right now. The music sounds very precise and technical, but I dunno, its just too hard sounding and the chords... don't give the sound I like. Each to their own, I've never been into music of his time which is probably why (although there is some ragtime I like from that era-- very little).

I call it dissonance intolerance.

I didn't like dissonant chords either until I started playing gershwin.

I say start with Gershwin's prelude #1 or 2 for starters.

If you haven't played for like 10 years there is no way you will get through the third.

Bet you can't play this.

Thats stupid. Its physically impossible to follow that. And it sounds terrriibbbleee. Is it a joke?

I see.

I'm not really a piano player so to speak, I just 'self taught' myself 3 songs I liked using tutorials. I probably have bad technique, I can't even properly read music. But I know what I like the sound of LOLOL.

Maybe when I understand music more, I might be able to listen to it from a different perspective. :o

Then nevermind lol.

Yes, you are talking to someone who understands very little. I just mask what I say to pretend I know what I'm talking about usually...

You can hear the disappointment from Seventh that the only one to respond seriously is a novice

Well we were all thinking it; but it's good to finally hear you say it.

Admission is the first step to recovery. We're here for you buddy.

When I posted that I did it partly to see how long you'd appear. Thanks for taking the bait. <3

My job is done.

How could I resist? you just admitted what I've been thinking since i met you!

but that's besides the fact that I play the piano and was actually looking at the topic FOR the topic; so don't flatter yourself too much there
