You don't need a can of sugary liquid to live.
Most food contains natural sugars that are all you need.
How else did people live before sugary confectionary's and fast food?
Especially papupers who couldn't afford sugar.
Fruits contain natural sugars, as do vegetables.
Meats contain sugars too.
But you don't need a lot of sugar a day.
Which is why you don't need very sugary sweeties and drinks and snacks.
Such things will often make up a large amount of you guideline daily amount for sugar.
Durning the school year I ate fast food (cheeseburgers / chicken nuggets / fries) for lunch about 4 days a week and I haven't gained that much weight. These choices are probably going to come back to bite me when I'm older lol.
You don't have to worry about just getting fat and putting on weight.
That's what most people only worry about.
But then you forget about blood pressure, blood sugar levels and cholesterol.
