Author Topic: Coolio wants to go to a bigger school.  (Read 829 times)

So, I live on a farm 2 miles from a rural school in a town. The town is very small. About 200 people. So, in my school, it's K-9 as of last year, and all of the classes have 3 grades. (except for mine, because we aren't getting new students) I'll be the oldest in my class. Anyway, the school sucks. The teachers are jerks, we don't learn anything. (Even my mother agrees with me) The kids in my class are morons (Read my class forum threads) and they're just downright starfishs. I didn't grow up in the town. I moved from Manitoba (I'm in Saskatchewan) and I haven't know everyone for my whole life, so I don't get along well. I maybe have like, 6 or 7 friends in a class of 17 people (10 people this year) and the majority are going into another classroom. Chances are, they won't want to be around me because they're older. They're like that to other grades younger than them. I'd rather move to a big school with good teacher and learn something, than be stuck with a whole bunch of people who make fun of me for playing Video Games (They do to, but not as much as I do) and being picked on and having no friends. Now, earlier I said that "I didn't grow up in the town", but I feel that I would make better friends in a bigger school over time, rather than knowing everyone in 2 weeks. It gives me time to find who to hang out with, rather than having to hang out with people who hate you, or sitting out and being a loner. I try to hang out with older kids, but if I say something, they jump down my throat and tell me to go away because I'm younger than them. It's not like I want to hang out with all of them, but people I like hang out with people I don't like 70% of the time. I try to make friends with them, but it's basically impossible because it seems that if one person hate me, the people that are friends with that person hates me, then I won't be liked with them. Because of that, I don't have many friends. If I moved to a bigger school, I'll get a fresh start, I'll be able to choose who to hang out with because they'll be more people, and I'll actually be able to learn something.

tl;dr - Coolio hates his school and wants to transfer.

Since your town is so small, I doubt there are any other schools. Right?

Yes.

My school day is from 9 to 3:15. That's a 6 hour day. It's a reasonable length. How long is your day?
