The Marines have a much more difficult training and generally do more experience-requiring tasks in war.

They're also more respected than the Army generally, not saying that the Army is not good.

Marines are probably more prestigious.

bootcamp!
All i see is people throwing things and dumping the contents of bags on the floor.
That's some real battle training there

That is the first day of Marine Bootcamp, where they are learning to keep their stuff squared away. Combat training comes later.

I thought you were very excited about being a chopper gunner.
We dont want you to die, Shinji.

Okay, marines it is. I made the call.

Thanks, boot camp starts November 25th.

Good luck Shinji, I hope you don't get hurt.
;-;

Why did you switch? Why didnt you join Marines in the first place?

It will be loving harder than hell to get through the training course. However, if you think this will honor your friend, do it.
