Because certain furries do not want to be associated with furries who act stupid.
Bronies do not want to be associated with furries who jack off to foxes, furries who jack off to foxes don't want to be associated with bronies who jack off to horses.
When in reality to someone on the outside both of those things are pretty messed up.
Of course, what is "normal" when it comes to loveual interest? I've seen a lot of things that I consider messed up outside of furries.
