Author Topic: TF2 crashed and I can't quit  (Read 1116 times)

I have 2 monitors.
On screen 1 I am stuck in a crashed TF2.
I am typing on screen 2 which still had chrome open.
It won't quit and whenever I alt control Delete the screen opens up on monitor 1 behind team fortress 2 and is unusable.
Alf f4 doesn't work.
How do I quit aaaa.

Restart your PC.

It doesn't look like it'd close.

nevermind
Restart your PC.

It doesn't look like it'd close.

alt-tab to task manager and end process hl2.exe

or maybe, set the screen that works as your main screen and then task manager would open on that one?

i've never used 2 screens before :/

alt-tab to task manager and end process hl2.exe
This. Or hard boot.

Restart your PC.

It doesn't look like it'd close.
But this PC never restarts; I always puts it in stand-by because it's one of those great-running PC's that run great and take 40 minutes to boot up :c
Well if that is the only way.
I cannot alt-tab since the alt-tab menu shows up behind the TF2 window on monitor 1.
It just takes priority and I can't put anything infront of it.

If your PC doen't have a reboot button, then hold the power button until it switches off, and then boot it up again.
But check how hot your PC is, it might have overheated.

It has a reboot button; and it is not overheating according to the temp sensor.
Well; off to restart then.
Thanks for the aids.

I don't know then.

Ctrl+Alt+Del
start task manager > End program
Do people these days not know this command?

Um.
Is your monitor broken?
Well; reboot was less worse than I expected. Thanks.

I always have my task manager on running services, so all I have to do is type the frozen programs name (in this instance tf2.exe ) and hit enter twice.
