black screen(NEED HELP!)

I am preety much new to blockland and as you know I have probelms here(sorry about the speeling I am russhain so I do not spell good

anyway will I was working on my invantion which was a a brricade in a coplue of mintues the game just stoped a couple of seconds later the screen becomes black an dI also ahev the altest vesrion of the game

so can anybody help me on this problem?
so about the speeling again

You lost me on "my invantion which was a a brricade"

I wanna think that means you were working on your pc/laptop and it has a Barricade[?] graphic chip/card? But I might be reading into that too much. Or you were working on your invention which was a barricade... Then that'll be you're probably, the barricade blocks it!


Anyway, sounds like a graphic issue. What is your graphics card/chip? If Card, PCI, AGP, or ePCI? CPU speed, RAM, and OS (Operating System)?

I think I might know what you mean now...

Yesterday and today, I've been having issues, mid-game, starting a hosted game, or joining a hosted game where my PC just goes into the toilet...

The screen will go black, monitor power light acts as if my monitor is sleeping, HDD led stay lit, reset button on case is unresponsive, I have to hard power down by hold the power button in for 4 seconds, reboot, and about 50/50 will my program connect to the internet, but DNS for web browsing works find, then if not, I have to restart, computer doesn't, so I have to use the reset button, boot back up, works fine...

I'm at a loss, it started out of the blue, no new mods, no removal of any mods... Just started happening...


[Edit] - This time I just had it sitting idle in the join a server window... and crash, restarts the computer... annoying...

I do recall I've been getting a lot of buffer overrun errors every now and then with Blockland before joining or hosting a server and have to restart Blockland for it to work again...

Any idea?

(Not to hijack a thread, but almost sees like identical issues, but mine happens sooner.

I have the full game and it does it, not too scare you away from chipping out the $19.95 or anything, I will probably have to reinstall, had one issue with bricks 40% of the time showing and any server, and another one I forget that I had to reinstall...

This reinstalling is annoying when I change nothing and the game breaks...
