Author Topic: Young Link Figure - V2  (Read 6315 times)

A complete revision of my original Young Link figure.

Completely hand sculpted (aside from the joints).

I really like the style you did this in, I hope you can make masks and more gear from Majora's Mask for this particular figure.

Wait what. How did you do that? =O

Super Sculpey + my hands.

Nice sculpture of Young Link! It really brings back memories of Ocarina of Time & Majora's Mask...Hey, could you sculpt that Elegey of Emptiness statue too? That would be a great BEN sculpture...Hahaha...Just kidding.

But it looks like a commercial plastic figurine to me. =O

Lalam, Have my babies.

just take them.

It's funny how I'm getting extremely good feedback here, while, from some of my very good friends, I'm getting "it's terrible"

I don't get it.  I think it looks good, and I don't see much I could improve on.

The face is scarier than the fake statues of yourself in Majora's Mask.

Other than that, it's awesome.

Keep in mind, the face is based more on the official artwork than the 3D models:

wow dude you have to find some way to make money off of your talent you could be so loving LOADED with cash

I like the face- it has that sort of young, boyish smirk associated with adventure and excitement.

I see the relation between concept art and the figure.

But I think it's the eyebrows, or the eyes in general. It's still great work, and I'm puzzled how you could do that with Sculpey.
If you plan on making more, I suggest you do adult link. You've definitely got the talent for it.

What is this magic sculptable plastic?
