Author Topic: I'm having some computer problems. (Help)  (Read 715 times)

Now, before I go any further, I'm on my little brother's user. Although his user has some problems relating to certain programs. My user won't even work. It seemed to have been working fine a few days ago. What it does is that it takes a half hour to load up the user. Just a black screen for a half hour. Then when my user finally does load, it lags, becomes so unresponsive that I can't even get 'Control + Alt + Delete' to work. Then it eventually crashes. I would try to restore the system, but I don't want to lose all of my stuff. I'm pretty good with computers, but I don't know what the heck is going on. It could be a virus. But I'm still unsure. Once again, my brother's user only has tiny issues. Mine is just so messed up right now. So any technical wizards here, please help me if you can. I have a Windows 7 Toshiba laptop. The model is: Satellite L505D.

Probably a stuff-ton of viruses.

I've had this before, where my laptop didn't start up at all, it just crashes, and I had to restore my computer, I had to lose all of my stuff, but I did recover all of my stuff.

Since you can't use Ctrl+Alt+Delete to check what's hogging your RAM/CPU, the other solutions will be complex.

you're going to have to do a System Restore.

Theres nothing on your computer that you cannot get back.
