This seems cool, but not clan-worthy.  The freebuild server should be a public service you guys do, rather than the focus of the clan.

This seems cool, but not clan-worthy.  The freebuild server should be a public service you guys do, rather than the focus of the clan.

The server is always free build but the clan is set up for group builds. As of today we are working on a ski resort as a clan, but we let random people that come in build their own houses somewhere on the mountain that does not interfear with any courses or the lodge.

That exactly.

Our freebuilds mainly have themes, usually with a main building. We work on the main build as a clan, and the people that come in contribute. Kind of like a gigantic orgy of building.

Unless there is some completely forgeted up rule a host of a freebuild has made I don't think you can have exactly a bad freebuild. A freebuild full of spam yes but not a bad one. They're all the same, you do the exact same thing in all of them and that's build

Yeah.... your right... But I remember having a freebuild... I swore 2 year olds where playing... one made a 50000 brick high pole... it crashed me server lol

Really what I'm saying is that a freebuild is what the name says. On a freebuild people should be allowed to build what they want, now I know people spam weapons and stuff but I mean even if they build a big red house and everything inside it is red they should still be allowed to do it and get on with it. If your gonna accept people into a clan by their building ablity then this is a building clan, not a freebuilding clan.

Almost everyone gets in, honestly it's not that hard. You can get in, but if you want to be ranked, then you have to be a good builder.

That's the whole point, you shouln't be "ranked" or "judged" in freebuilding unless they ask you what do you think. And as far as there are no good freebuilds out there, I beg to differ

So what makes your freebuilds better? Good builds, it all comes down to your opinion of the players build. Someone could like a players build and another could think its the uglist thing they have ever seen. The reason I got over 40 people in a freebuild is because I let them do what they wanted to do and let them have fun. I didn't stand over them with a destructo wand and if I thought there build wasn't good I'd hit it with a destructo wand nd tell them to start again
