not everyone has friendtrollfaces extension.

Menen, what do you expect her first song to be? She didn't write it, and she was only what, like 13? Nobody should have expected a lot from her first song.

That is no excuse for how terrible it is.

Actually, it is. People were expecting her first video to be something very professional and well-sung, but it wasn't, because she was obviously new to the whole music scene(and still is), and the song wasn't that great so people started to flame. Also, I hope you read the article. She didn't even write the song.

Bump, also just found out that she has her own record label.

Shes Terrible. They edited her voice to make her sound like a robot. Honestly you would think Music producers would know better

I agree with OP.

bring on the hate.

Oh, and for amplified effect.
I am a brony.

thank you and goodnight.

What does being a brony have anything to do with Rebecca?

Several people, evidenced by "Listen up, Bronies" thread, hate bronies. and the fact that they acknowledge they are bronies.
Several people, evidenced by this thread, also hate Rebecca Black.

If I acknowledge that I'm a brony and I like Rebecca Black, well, as Usher one said to me during a private Justin Beiber concert that I attended: "All publicity is good publicity."

just because she works a lot doesn't mean she's good

obviously she is working the wrong way, as her music doesn't sit right with me.

I read it somewhere on the internet, so it must be true.

I can assure you Ms. Black did not write that biographical account of wonderful she is and how she should be admired.  A paid publicist wrote it.  It doesn't have to be true, it just has to sound good to win the support of haters and dissenters.  So what if she has been studying how to be a singer/songwriter since age 3?  She is still awful and judging by the current status of western musical culture, isn't going to be proving her worth anytime soon.

Rebecca Black isn't largely hated because of her first song/video (although it WAS terrible).  She is hated because she represents everything wrong with the modern music industry and its pandering to talentless, auto-tuned and over-hyped "artists."  The assumption that producers can focus a camera on a somewhat attractive tween, use digital technology to improve the quality of her lackluster singing, and then publicize the hell out of her when she receives less than favorable praise is just arrogant and played out.  There is no skill or talent involved in what she does.  Anyone can talk in cadence with rhythm and call it a song.  It takes a special type of performer to go beyond that.  Some producer somewhere saw an opportunity to make some easy money and took it.  That's it.

Seriously Oleg, it sounds like you're showing your support for Ms. Black just so in the event that she does become more successful you can save face and say "Ha ha!  Told you so!"

Very touching speech, Titanium. First of all, I'm not supporting Rebecca Black so I can

, I am supporting her because she ignored the internet community flaming and trolling her, and that she continued her career in music, even when people like you didn't want her to. Actually, it almost sounds like your jealous of her, because she is getting so much publicity.

She's 13. At least she is trying to follow her dreams and rise above all the mean-spirited attacks and haters. You hide behind your computer screens and work pretty hard to eviscerate a child. Would you walk up to a 13 year old kid you didn't know at a school play or concert and tell them they sucked or that they should die? Give me a break. If you're all so cool, where's your claim to fame? Get a life and leave little kids alone you big bullies.

I stole that from a YouTube comment, but it definitely applies here you morons.
