A broad range of music as it has a very broad definition. You can go melodic dubstep such as:

skream and benga are dubstep, though. what you call dub is dubstep and what you call dubstep is brostep

The problem I have with your "dubstep" and "brostep" is that brostep is just dubstep with annoyingly high-pitch sounds. I don't like that. The kind of dubstep I listen to is the kind that you can dance to and just get mind-blown from. Your dubstep is the kind of dubstep that you'd sit down and have playing in the background. I just don't like the boringness of that. I understand that you might listen to it to relax or something, but for me, wubwubwub doesn't relax me. I'll listen to something else if I want to relax.
