I prefer decent bands. Green day and the like. They try, unlike that 'Black' music, if you get my meaning.

oh god what

it's nice to know that everyone agrees that Green Day sucks

some of their old stuff isn't that bad, but their new stuff is ew. I went to a concert of theirs last year and they played some of their old stuff, it was pretty cool.

Yiruma is good.
Amazing actually.

I went to their concert when they started their tour in Seattle at Key Arena. They're pretty good live...and you're right, their older stuff isn't too shabby.

I also like Less Than Jake.

Very nice. I enjoyed it, sounded wonderful.

Please don't de-rail the topic.  This is for discussioun of La Fille(...), other songs by contemporary composers and other songs semilar to it.

Personally the most beautiful song I've heard.

It's funny that much emotion can come from a computer.

I should record myself playing Clair de Lune and post it.

Each to their own. Can't compare to the OP though in my opinion.

Also:
In the game "Civilization V" by Sid Meier, there's a full orchestration arrangement.

Listened to it probably annother 20 times or so in the last day.

What is it about piano music where if you don't like it everyone thinks your uncultured? Different tastes and interests still exist, you know.

If you say that any modern Pop band is better, then don't post rude comments or something that would be, in fact, much less creative.  Modern music is crap and genres with flavor, such as baroque and jazz (not classic blues).  To like that means you have good tastes.  To like only songs that contain m or Maj and the occasional 7 chord arrangement, with an overused 2-5-1 or 1-5-4-1 root-chord pattern or similar is not a good music choice.
