Author Topic: [Blockland Chronicle] Truce's Throw Mod...Chaos or new gametype?  (Read 5880 times)

Hello, everyone. We have all noticed the new servers up based on Nobot's Truces new "Throw Mod" which includes clicking on players at right timing to pick them up and clicking again to throw them. So far the only servers up are Unknown_Blocko's Throw Mod(using V2, which is clicking someone while crouched and throwing them at walls to kill) and Winner's Throw Mod (Using V3 which does not require clicking while crouched, and the way to kill is by throwing other players at "Kill-zones"). Which of coarse both servers are Dedicated, and they have 5-10 players on them most the time.

These throw mod games are very fun to play, and are starting to thrive past the popularity of knife TDM's, which of coarse are the #3 most popular gametypes. These games do not require much skill besides clicking fast and repeatedly, and are much fun to play, so we give this gametype 4/5 stars!

I assume you have a program which measured this out scientifically?
so we give
We?
You mean you?
Besdies, you act like people were expecting you to post your opinion of the gamemode or something.
Lastly, you don't even touch on the possible "bad points" of the mod, which are implied in the title "chaos or new gametype".

He thinks he can compete with TBB. This guy is too retarted, so I think Icy won't have much of a problem.

Both 'news sources' are terrible.

I could make a better one.

Both 'news sources' are terrible.
I'm sure many people could.

And no... I mean the entire team at Blockland Chronicle

And no... I mean the entire team at Blockland Chronicle

Do you really need more than one person for this..?

Lots of idiots < An intelligent person

And no... I mean the entire team at Blockland Chronicle

Awnser all the questions, idiot.
And no, there isn't a team.

It's not really my mod anymore at this point. I posted snippets for grabbing and throwing in coding help once, and someone attempted to package it and "fix it" (which in reality they just screwed up parts).

I highly doubt you have any idea how much work, research, time, and effort it requires to build a decent blog, manage authors, sustain content, and bring in readers. I also doubt you can even appreciate the journalistic conventions and techniques we use in our articles, you probably can't even tell them apart.

Nobody quite has perspective on what it takes to maintain things like TBB. Although I don't expect you to. But I think you'd find yourself new appreciation for what TBB does if you had a taste of what it was like. Most of the people who have tried to become authors realize the time and work required and don't bother going ahead, or fall out early on.

I'm still trying to find out how much I can possibly do since the glory days are over for blockland.
