We'd already lost our two good friends. Though Beaver Boy and Speedy Onion would live on in our hearts, we felt empty without them. Nevertheless, we continued on our journey through the barren wasteland. Few words were spoken between That Bingo and I; we were both deep in thought.
We suddenly both stumbled, as if we'd taken a step down without knowing. We looked down to see what had happened and to our surprise: the world had ended.. but fortunately a new world started where the other left off.
An enormous structure appeared within the fog. We were curious enough to ignore our fear; we continued toward the house.
We found a large piece of wood with big enough grooves to climb right up to the top. Though That Bingo was afraid of heights, he still managed to climb that wall.
One thing stood between us and getting inside the house. A window.
Fortunately, we had the brilliant idea of using the hammers which we always carry with us.
We could see small cracks beginning to form in the glass.
Suddenly, the window shattered into thousands of small pieces.
"Hey look, there's a table over there. I think it's close enough for us to jump to!" That Bingo said.
I was a little more concerned, "Are you sure?"
"Cannonball!!" said That Bingo. "Ahhhhhh" I said.
"Help!! Help! I'm falling!" That Bingo grabbed my hands just in time.
Unfortunately, he wasn't that strong.
"OOMF"
"Heh.. Sorry" he said. "Don't apologize! Help me get back up!" I said.
"I think I saw a car I could use to get high enough to jump up to the table"
"Umm.. Lance.. You better hurry!! Come on!"
"AHH! It's no use.. I can't make it." I said. "You
have to make it!"
"Wait.. whats this random cloud of smoke?" said That Bingo
A faint shadow appeared through the smoke. "Stay back! Stay back I say!" said Bingo.
The figure rushed over, shoved Bingo aside and threw down a rope ladder.
I didn't know who this guy was or what he wanted, but boy did I scamper up that ladder at an amazing speed.
"Follow me if you want to survive"
Bingo and I looked at each other with a puzzled look. We decided we did indeed want to survive.
"This could be a trap" said Bingo. "Only one way to find out!" said Lance
"Greetings. I am Agereon."
"Ohh I've heard of you! But what are you doing living in a BLUPO castle?" I replied
"Same reasons as you I suppose.. Curiosity.. Survival.."
"Those are good reasons" Said Bingo.
"We have another reason though.. We want to stop this epidemic." I said.
Really? So you wanna be the heroes then? Well I actually have news for you."
"I know how to get you to where the outbreak started."
"The outbreak started in that tub?" said Bingo
"No, no.. There is a portal in there that will take you to Hollow Heights. It's the city that was first hit by the epidemic. I escaped the city by finding a portal. Since I had zombies close on my tail I decided to jump in. I shot out of the portal inside that Tub, and that's how I got here."
"Well I say we go in. But just how exactly do we get in there?" I said. Agereon smiled and grabbed Bingo before he had time to react. He raised him above his head and then threw him right into the tub.
"AHHH" said Bingo
I was more prepared.
"YIPEEEE!! Thanks Agereon!! You've been a great help! We really appreciate you!"
I landed next to Bingo inside the tub. An ominous black portal stood in front of us.
"Who goes first?" I said
"Nose goes!" he said
Unfortunately, I wasn't very fast at touching my finger toward my nose.
I jumped in.
My worries departed when I landed in the portal. It sent a tickling sensation through your body, but man was it relaxing!
"Jump in, the portal's fine!" I said
Here I go!
As we completely submerged ourselves in the portal, we saw a flash as bright as the sun.
As the suddenness of the flash wore off, we looked around.
We were in Hollow Heights.
