Author Topic: Is this a good home computer?  (Read 524 times)

So, my family is looking to get another computer.
They want one for me for school and stuff and one of our laptop's is dead ( we had 2 and 4 people in my family who are always on the pc, but now we only have one :C)
I saw this in this weeks bestbuy flier.

Asking $330
and if you pay $399 you get a 20" LED Widescreen Monitor
Good price, nice computer? yes?

NO!
THAT IS HORRIBLE FOR GAMING! READ THE DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPUTER!
That computer have an Intel Craphics Card! DON'T BUY IT AT ALL!
Sorry but that computer will commit Self Delete if you dare play Blockland on it.

Wait, sorry, didn't read topic. xD
It's okey for school and office stuff, any computer is good at that.

4gb of memory?

Sounds hot to me.

I dont have a lot of computer games. Or ones that are to demanding.
I have
Star Wars Republic Commando
Star Wars Battlefront 2
Blockland
and the rest of the stuff I use are
Phillips Songbird
Xfire
Steam
Paint.NET
Seagate manager

I'm not too keen on the intel integrated chips but if you have a bit more money, I would suggest buying a PC with a better graphics card for your games. I doubt that chip will run them all effectively. But as for school work and general browsing, that works fine and this would be great for photo or video editing as it has a large HDD. Also that CPU is kind of on the lower end of the spectrum.

I dont know why i come to these threads i know nothing about computers. ;-;
