It uses an i3 and doesn't have gigabit Ethernet.

Ahhhhh

I don't need good quality internet.

I won't be surfing the web with it or hosting servers with it.

but you want to play games online, don't you?

I don't need Super duper internet to do that.

PROCESSOR   Intel® Core™ i3 330UM (3M Cache, 1.2 GHz) - Overclockable
Sounds like you got the stufftiest processor dell has in stock.
The computer I am looking at is a desktop and it has 3.3 Ghz.
Also has 8 GB Ram and a 2GB Video Card, 1 TB Harddrive and it is only $944.
So you got yourself a stuffty deal.

Lol yes you do. You need really good internet to play online, much more than just for surfing the web,

You should've asked before buying, there's many better laptops we could've recommended for you.
Alienware = Dell. Dell = bad quality, overpriced.
Just hope it doesn't turn into a paperweight in a year or so's time.

Also, ladios, Falcon Northwest are the best thing besides building one yourself. They used to build aircraft computer systems, and use the best quality parts. If I ever got a laptop, it'd have to be a Falcon NW.

You should have atleast researched before you got it.

First off if you want it for games you should go for a desktop computer.

Second off it's pretty outdated for a 'new' computer and way overpriced.

Third, it's pretty ricer.

First off if you want it for games you should go for a desktop computer.
Whilst I agree with this for the most part, there are some great gaming laptops out there with more of a CPU/GPU balance than the non gaming laptops, which seem to have a good CPU and nothing else.

True, I just prefer desktops. I only use my laptop when it's nice outside and I want to sit outside and watch videos.

I have a Samsung QX511.

It's better.

I think choosing between a laptop or a desktop is all about what you do throughout the year. I like to be able to have my PC pretty much anywhere I go. So I took a laptop.

You mention this in every computer topic.
I've viewed their site, and I am sure they are quality.
But they are so loving over priced. You should know that you are paying for that whole "We build aircraft computer systems" gimmick.
Sure, I'm sure they make fancy aircraft computers.. what does that have to do with the whole thousand dollar paint job on the case that they want me to pay for?
I guess it is just Preference, because I would never buy one.

Compare a Falcon Northwest Mach V and a iBUYPOWER 2011 Paladin E
Falcon Northwest Mach V costs $1,901 with no changes. : IBUYPOWER 2011 Paladin E, Customized. Costs $1,901
Standard Fan pack : Liquid CPU Cooling System
1000 watt Modular : 1000 watt Modular
p8p67 Deluxe Motherboard : [SLI] Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 -- Lucid Virtu Technology motherboard
2nd Gen Core i5 2300 2.8 GHz Processor, with No Overclock. :  Intel® Core™ i7-2600K Processor (4x 3.40GHz/8MB L3 Cache) With an optional 20% overclock
4GB Ram 1333Mhz DDR3 : 16 GB [4 GB X4] DDR3-1600 Memory Module
Forgot the video cards. GeForce Nvidia 1.2 GB : NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 - 3GB <-- had to make this very high to match the overpriced Falcon.
500GB Harddrive Space, 7200 RPM : 2 TB HARD DRIVE -- 64M Cache, 7200 RPM, 6.0Gb/s
1 24x DVD optical Drive : 2 24x DVD optical Drives
Windows 7 Premium : Windows 7 Premium.

Compare that...

Quality is well worth the price. When it comes to computers, unless you want an expensive door stop in a years time, you've gotta pay for the extra quality of the components, and the fact that they custom build laptops isn't cheap either.

I think he should of built a Desktop.

If you examine my post edit I made, The difference is more than just quality.
The Falcon is basically an expensive door stop when you purchase it.

Thought I'd also mention my stuffty overpriced dell from almost two years ago costs about $700 or so without the monitor.
And It is better than that Mach V in almost every way.
4 GB ram, 2.9 Ghz, etc.
