My internet

So, my internet sucks. Not the ISP, just my modem and router. A few seconds ago, I was playing a game, and the internet went off while we were battling for about 2 hours. (yes, 2 hours.) and I'm disappointed.
Can anyone suggest me better modems/routers?

Just get a better one.  LinkSys and Motorola are generic routers but for a modem you'd have to consult your ISP, and usually its just the router.

If you have a large house and you use wireless internet around the house, get a router with really good range.  They cost more because they're quality, but the range will be great.

I'm currently using a LinkSys router and it goes down occasionally. My modem is the one that goes down the most though.

See if a friend or neighbor with the same ISP is having the same problem simultaneously. If not, you could try to snag a new modem and/or router (preferably draft-N, 150MBps or more.) Before making any purchases, make sure that the connection to the modem is where the problem is occurring. Many ISP's give you the option to use a modem made by a company other than the basic Motorola or RCA ones. Only problem is you have to buy it yourself, but I'm sure someone on the forums would love to help you choose some out.

You should contact your ISP about it then.
