The person sending the E-mail is named Megan and she apparently dated a Melissa. Which is weird because I know a Megan that dated a Melissa the only difference is this is not them.

It's how bad emails bypass filters. Some filters look for specific wordings, so they add randomly generated text of specific legths to the bottom so it thinks the email JUST might be someone forwarding it in the context "I got this stuffty email, ignore it." or something.
