Yes. Earth's orbit is elliptical and the distance to sun varies between 147,098,290 km and 152,098,232 km. Exact variance is 4,999,942 km. (I said 10 million kilometers in my post above which is wrong.)

And this stuff has been proven by science. Like proven proven, not a theory or some thing. It is an actual fact.

a "fact" means it has been proven. to prove something scientifically means it can be observed and documented and tested again and again against the data.

do you believe the world is flat still?

a theory means there is data, but it cant be tested, ot tested yet. thus not a "fact" yet
there is plenty of data to support the big bang. but it cant be trialed and observed because we cant recreate it in a lab, and because the real one isnt reoccurring.

people of faith seem to have more a problem with how we currently define "fact" and "theory" then the actual case itself.

you seem to forget how it works.

1) you need a hypothesis (you seem to think this is where the big bang currently is)
2) you need data to make it a theory (this is where big bang actually is)
3) you test your theory to make it a fact (where many people of faith seem to have a lot of anxiety in this area for many many things over history)
4) you have a fact to publish(people of faith deny it as evil anyways)

schools teach both theories and facts. but not hypothesis (god)

Oh there is plenty of data of Big Bang. It is not just some crazy theory pulled from someone's ass like "First there was this huge horde of zebras that shat out unicorns that eat rainbows and they all died and formed the universe".

No one can prove that god exists, there is only a big fat stupid book made by silly people who pulled stories out of their asses and written it down in a book, which they then edited 10 thousand times to make it more "friendly" for the audience. They just made that so they could manipulate people into believing into something that, by all means, is way more stupid then that an explosion created everything mixed with a theory of evolution.
And they actually did this for some cash.
