Good question. There are several reasons. First there would need to be a habitable planet with an intelligent enough alien life form that is capable of space travel. Okay, not necessarily too hard to find.

Another problem is distances. The distances between stars out there in the universe are enormous. You would need to have a spaceship capable of velocities near light speed. (Roughly 300 000 kilometers per second.) Even at those speeds it would take hundreds, thousands or even millions of years for them to fly here.

Then comes the main problem. How slow light actually travels. Yes. Slow. Right now when we look at the night sky we see stars. We see those stars as they were millions or billions of years ago. One of those stars could have exploded 50 million years ago and we could still see the light coming from it. When an alien race out there takes a look at Earth (Another big problem, we are just one planet of many and there is no reason to look at us.) they see Earth as it was millions or billions of years ago. Barren. Lifeless. The aliens have no reason to specifically come to Earth when there are millions of identical barren lifeless planets everywhere.

I'm just going to throw this out there:

Any type of Religion with 1 God who you have to pray to and worship and love 24/7, would be just the same as having a Despotismic government.

For instance, people in North Korea pray to their leader. They don't pray to any other God. However, that is their religion, and he is the God of that religion.

A neglectful god who doesn't feed his own people, doesn't give them anything sanitary for hospitals. He has the resources, just like the Christian god. However, he doesn't give it to them, same with the Christian god.

So, Kim Jong-Il is most widely thought of as the #1 enemy to freedom, because no North Korean citizen ever gets to leave.

I would like you to point out each difference between God, Kim Jong-Il, Josef Stalin, and Adolf Riddler, to their respective people.

Except the fact that so many times, there have been on quests to take over the world and force everyone to be Christian, because that's what God wanted, it was part of his 'plan'.

Plus, if you don't believe in God, you go to hell. Wouldn't God want everyone to believe in him? So he would be, the sole ruler of the people's hearts? So, he would have complete control over everything.

Sounds very much like Riddler, or Stalin, or Kim Jong to me.

Don't believe in god. If he is so "real" how come nobody has ever seen him? How do we know, that the Holy Bible isn't just made up by some crazy cook who wanted everyone to think he is "amazing" in so many ways.

He will let millions of his people die horrible deaths, and doesn't give a stuff. He's got a plan, so we have no free will. Every apparently, every decision you ever make was actually your God's choice.

Religious propaganda is loving everywhere. Nobody gives a damn about it because nobody wants to admit they're not the most pious Christian in the world; they'll get mobbed by bible-huggers for saying so because there's one last agnostic in the world and they haven't converted him. Christians propogate their views daily. It's insane, nobody who doesn't believe in that wants to hear it. There's a passage from the Exodus, 20:3, that says "You shall have no other gods before me." What the forget? That's scary, it's like the Christian god is being a strict parent or something. The Christians have turned him into Adolf Riddler, terrible to his enemies but generous to his followers. Christians say you'll burn in hell if you don't do EXACTLY what they tell you to do and believe in EXACTLY what they tell you to believe in. They leave the Hindu and their gods alone. They leave Buddhists alone. They leave Muslims and Taoists and every other possible religion practiced in the world today ALONE. They seem to think that atheists and agnostics are like free game because they don't already believe in a made-up man in the clouds who made all the matter in the universe in seven days and then decided to focus on ONE LITTLE INSIGNIFICANT PLANET CALLED EARTH for all eternity. I don't want Christians trying to convert me, I don't believe in your god, I don't believe in the next guy's god, I don't believe in any god ever made up in the minds of anybody. It's a Christian's job to remedy that against my will because they just can't have someone who doesn't believe in the same fairy tales as they do. Christian propoganda is everywhere, and nobody does a thing about it because "Oh, it's so benevolent!" Bullstuff.

I have prayed for people to be healed of whatever is wrong with them, and they feel better before I am finished.
