Colten, you are a idiot. I was simply stating that these topics are created to spark a flame war.

I wasnt talking about you or else I would have quoted you. But ok.

Im not trying to convert anyone to be an atheist.

You are still systematically justifying your beliefs by attempting to break down and discredit the beliefs of other people.

However, I won't lie, finding a good, entertaining, and energizing yet also correct church is hard. My parents usually try about 3-4 churches in a new area till we find one fitting that criteria.

Stop getting your nose stuck in the Old Testament and read the New Testament.

the only thing jesus changed was now we can be forgiven by god for jesus being sacrificed, to cover all future sacrifices.
as apposed to the old way of giving up our best animals and crops for sacrifice.

everything else in the old testament remains unchanged to the creed.

though modern Christians would love to believe otherwise. it makes them look less crazy.
unfortunately it still is a valid part of their religion.

I dont get why most churches are so large. Wouldnt it make more sense to donate that million dollars you just spent on your gothic-style church? :o

Because I hate the name FrozenEye.

And then there's the people who never get mentioned in this stuff. You know, the people who would rather just continue living and find out if there is some form greater power after they die.

Agnosticism is greater than and equal to all other religions.

I like how 90% of this topic consists of common stereotypes.

#2: Praying. Seriously, probably the most annoying thing christians do. I mean, in my opinion all praying is is just talking to yourself and expecting an answer, which never comes. Praying is believing. Believing that someone is there listening to you when you need them the most. No one expects an answer right away when they pray and if they do they're stupid. You may not  be answered at all but its the fact that you've gotten your problems off your chest that's the point and it helps you feel a little better  This is what we refer to as being false hope.  Your "faith" is directly base upon whether or not you have the ability to accept something that may benefit your own actions.  In the case in which this being doesn't perform a miracle, it's simply dismissed by individuals promoting the same mentality you exercise.  Otherwise, if the occured is even remotely similar to your prayer, it's considered to be miracle, or an answer from the being you praise.

#5: Knowing that Im not in control of my future. Sometimes in church my pastor says things like "God has a plan, and you're part of it! Before god even created the Heavens and the Earth, he knew what your life was going to be like!" Quite frankly, I like being in control, and not knowing that my life is to go a certain way.You are in control of your future. God know's that will become. He has no action in what comes of it though.  The term "Destiny" refutes this view, and, since I assume you're christian, to not believe this is to not believe the appropriate word of god, implying that you're not properly understanding your own religion.

#6: God loves everyone. Now this is complete bullstuff. Its impossible to love everyone. I mean, how can god look down on the world, seeing Flash Mobers,  and still love them? Lives lost, families ruined, fatherless/motherless children, people scared forever. God’s love for all of mankind results in the fact that God shows His mercy by not immediately punishing people for their sins  I'm curious as to why you rebut something with mere assumption, please inform me of how this view has any validating factors that can't be defied by simply offering common fact.

#7: Its impossible for god to exist. I find it hard to believe god exists, i mean, it is literally impossible for someone to be alive sense the beginning of time. I mean, it hurts my head even thinking about it. Something or someone had to create him, and then something/someone had to created. Ill just leave it at that, because its hard to word.Don't think about it then. It's called having faith and just believing.
Having "faith" in something you believe implies that you understand the concept to which its existence is manifested.  However, you state that the only way to have faith is to, well, have faith.  You contradict your own view by simply offering no justification, aside from the fact that your view is your view.  Example "my imaginary friend bob is real because he's real"

Yeah but stereotypes became stereotypes for a reason, because theyre almost always true
