Now, I know that half of you are sick heartless bastards who do not give a forget, but here goes.
First off, my brother named him Silly before we even bought him, due to his behavior. We got this bird back in 2007 at Petsmart. They said that, given proper treatment, they can live up to 25 years. They didn't know the bird's age, which I did ASDF at. First we got him a small cage (and food), and then a friend (and more food), named Lily, and then a larger cage (and more loving food). My brother became very attached to the birds and was devastated when Lily died (after choking on a seed shell). So we got my brother (and the bird) a new companion, named Speckles. Speckles is alive and well right now, but Silly has a swollen liver, is having trouble breathing, and only has a 20% chance of living, even with medication. My brother is devastated.
Edit: He is hopping around, not flying yet, and eating and drinking his water. My brother and I are almost overjoyed.
