Author Topic: My internet bill was $2,795.85  (Read 3099 times)

Im on youtube most of the day and don't do much downloading. My parents are accusing me to be the problem.
Is youtube the reason my internet bill is so high? We also have a guest account for our wireless network. If thats the problem, I could take care of it. :P So, can anyone help me?

Youtube.
I got ripped off for 70 euros [Like 90 dollars or something] for watching 3 videos.
Datacosts.

your neighbors are leeching off you or your dad watched too much research

Get an ISP with a flat rate. 2,795 bucks? No way.

What does research have to do with it? Im gonna watch the ip adresses that log into it. I might just even need my sniffer.

Internet Service Provider

That should be a crime. If it's youtube, they can't charge you without notifiying you.

youtube does not charge the money
the isp does for the data being transferred

Tom

I'm thought all ISPs were flat rate.
I call BS

+ would a UDP flooder be the problem? I've recentley noticed that my packets are flying through the roof.

Holy stuff, is getting an internet bill that high is even possible?

I mean, I go over my data cap sometimes, but it's 60 Gigs which is pretty small, and going over the cap doesn't really cost that much.

You need to ask your parents if your data plan has a cap on it, or if it charges you for how many Gigs you use. Not to mention how much it charges you.
