My dad is good with computers and my mom is ok. My grandmom however doesnt even know how to get into the internet.

I'm glad my parents know how to use a computer. Sometimes when I read these posts, it almost makes me wish they didn't know, because then I could seem like a wizard.

My dad thinks that the entire IP's users can be hacked with port forewarding for Blockland.

He also thinks that I don't need to update my sound driver for Blockland when I have no sound.  He says the sound options are wrong.  I've been playing for 3 years and he's telling me how to get it to work.

My computer is 5 years newer.
I have 10 programs open at once.
I have over 15 tabs open at once on chrome.
Rapid clicking.

My dad thought I "broke into" with some hacking software to get access to our home router to try to fix the internet connection.

I just had to type 'gateway.2wire.net' and happily welcomes me with a homely interface.

Heck, she even trusted me when I said some program called Bearshare was a virus because it was spying on me (copied the titles to some of the things I went to), which infact it was!

yeah i have the same problem.


she keeps thinking because the computers broken she assumes i did it, or i magically loving know everything about PCs and how to fix it.
