Author Topic: Which City RPG Mod is the best? (Read 3677 times)

I've been using Ibans but it just doesn't seem good enough. I've tried JJstorm's but it crashed my computer. I've attempted RPCore but I had no idea how to use it before I switched to JJstorm's.

What RPG mod is better/more realistic with more additions to it and where can i find it.

I like the look and sound of wicked's but I don't know if he Everett gave it to any one other than himself.

I also liked Jookia's but the download for it was -snip-ed

Every City RPG mod is not good enough, seriously.

Somebody needs to put real effort into these mods.

Theres really only like 4 that are released. Jook's iban's JJStorms (best imo) and RP Core.

And Pitfall's. I use that one, it's no doubt my favorite.

There's two main mods of that genre, rp core and cityrp(g).
Iban's and Pitfall's are just edits of Jookia's.

Iban's modified, its classic, comes with everything you need, and works quite well. Most people build onto it, like Custard or Chromedome

RP core is too hard to use for me, Pitfall's and Ibans were easy to use, JJstorm's was alright.

So I decided to go with RP Core, which I figured out the crashing thing for, and there are some
Parts I'm having trouble with.

Is there a command for giving demerits to a person?

Is there real estate?

Where are the RTB preferences that Mctwist speaks of on the RP Core/addition pages?

More when I discover more.

What would I use the oncalled event for from the cellphone mod.

Just to add, the CityRPG mods are fine. But too much reliance is put on the mod and not the RP, which is why the city builds in the days of v8 with just a cashmod were so good.

Its the players that make CityRPG's stuff. It really is. Bad admins or douchebag clients.
