Author Topic: What makes a gaming Youtuber popular in your opinion?  (Read 1635 times)

Im just wondering what everybody thinks.

In my opinion they need to have a good voice and an easy to remember youtube username.

The worse they are at the game and how they get themselves into stuff situations. Would you rather watch someone play Minecraft and build a giant 1337 castle or run from creepers and scream like a little girl?

I think it's how funny there are. I think that's what rockslide26 is trying to say but I'm not sure.

"Gaming Youtubers" I've enjoyed were generally people that produced high-quality videos on subjects I was interested in like Angry Video Game Nerd, Zero Punctuation, and Swifty from when I played World of Warcraft. It's all personal taste really, but a good deal of it relies on humor and niche appeal.

Yes, their reactions to/frequency of absurd situations is funny.

Zero Punctuation is good, and anyone that makes funny videos, like motdef.

I sometimes listen to TotalBiscuit's mailbags because they do provide pretty good viewpoints on the gaming industry and other matters.

BlueXephos all day, err' day.

Really, stop that.

Watching someone who's terrified of horror games, play a horror game.

For some reason I find someone else's fear entertaining.
